Alice Marin, LMT, CMA
Instructor of Anatomy, Physiology
Alice became the proud owner of NJ School of Massage in 2015 and a licensed massage therapist since 2000. She utilizes her vast experience as a massage therapist, business owner, and instructor to motivate and assist all NJSOM students through a culture of warmth and positivity. Alice ensures that every student has the tools and confidence to start and grow a career in massage therapy, keeping in contact with her students even after graduation.
Alice is a proud member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). She is certified in CPR/AED and First Aid from the American Safety and Health Institute. She is also certified in Therapeutic Taping (RockTape) and was a former Certified Medical Assistant. Alice is fluent in Spanish.
Tanner Szanto, LMT
Instructor of Anatomy, Physiology, Reflexology, Bodywork
Tanner has been a LMT since 2012 and an instructor at NJSOM since 2015. As an instructor, it his his mission to impart students with the creativity to adapt to the varied landscapes of the human body, and to gain and maintain a respect for massage that they can carry with them as they pursue their career.
Tanner is a graduate of NJSOM and a lead massage therapist at Massage Envy. He is a member of ABMP and certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.
Sandra Hernandez, LMT
Administrative Assistant and Instructor of Reflexology, Spa/Hot Stone, CPR
Since 2005, Sandra has been cultivating a lifestyle that she truly enjoys as a licensed massaged therapist. She enjoys being part of a student's journey to become a massage therapist and helping them understand the career growth that massage therapy has to offer.
Sandra is a member of AMTA and is a Certified CPR/AED and First-Aid Instructor from the National Safety Council. She holds certifications in hot stone, reflexology, Japanese Zen massage facials, joint stretching, and has extensive knowledge of spa treatments such as scrubs, muds, and body wraps. Sandra is also fluent in Spanish.
